Cucumber (Sasha) Plants

Cucumber Plant is a fruit plant, which is belongs from gourd family “Cucurbitaceae” and it is known as “Sasha” in Bengali. Scientific name of this plant is “Cucumis sativus”;Cucumber is green in color and cylindrical in shape. Producing power of this plant is very strong. Two plants produce enough cucumber. Cucumber uses for salad in Summer season and it has many quite bitter seeds.

Cucumber plant care and maintenance is easy and small time activity. For its well growth, it needs well-drained soil, which must not be dry out. Dry soil is affected on its crop and over watering is also damaged its growth. Regular watering helps to vigorous growth and it needs quite but regular fertilizing for its fast growth. Time of fruit producing, it requires liquid fertilizer and it needs temperature ‘between 15°C to 30°C’.
