Neem
Neem plant is a well-known herbal or medicinal plant, which is commonly known as “Indian Lilac” in English. In Hindi and Bengali it is known as “Neem” and “Nim”. Scientific name of this plant is “Azadirachta indica” that belongs from family of “Meliaceae”. Leaves of this plant is green colored and leaves are mostly used in medicinal purpose. Its leaves are used in cooking and it is bitter in taste. Leaves of this plant are used for treatment of high blood sugar or clean blood. Its flowers are white in color and fruits are soft but stone fruit. Its fruits are also bitter in taste and shell of fruits is yellowish or whitish in color. This neem plant makes various products. It is anti bacterial, anti viral plant. It is used for many skin problems or diseases; its oil is used in hair, it is used to meliorate liver function and maintain blood sugar level. It is also used in traditional purposes in India.
