Gokhru

Gokhru plant is a type of herbal plant, which belongs from family of “Zgophyllaceae”. Scientific name of this plant is “Tribulus terrestirs Linn” and its common name is “Gokshura”, “Goxuri”, and “Chhote gokhuri” etc. This plant is also a perennial plant; root of this plant is cylindrical in shape and light brownish in color. Leaves of this plant are greenish in color and quite shiny. Flowers of this plant are yellowish in color; it is a flowering and also a fruit plant. Fruits and flowers are available in during a year; it is sweet in taste. It is used for medicinal purposes. This plant is used for treatment of headache, nervousness, urinal problem, kidney infection, and skin problem etc. It is also used in male and female fitness supplements; it helps to reduce cholesterol, blood pressure etc.
