Zelkova Bonsai

Zelkova plant is a type of bonsai plant that belongs from family of “Ulmaceae” and scientific name of this plant is “Zelkova serrata”, which is commonly known as “Japanese zelkova”. This plant is a flowering plant and also fruit plant. It blooms flowers in early Summer and it produces fruits like stone fruit. Zelkova plant is a easy growing and low maintaining plant. Zelkova plant prefers full of sunlight and for avoiding afternoon sunlight it needs shade. Well-drained moist soil is preferable for this plant but soil must be fertile. This plant can tolerate drought and it needs medium watering but regular watering is preferable for this plants healthy growth. Very quite fertilizing like once or twice in a month is acceptable by this plant in its growing time during the year.
