Crabapple Bonsai

A well-known bonsai plant Crabapple plant belongs from family of “Rosaceae” and scientific name of this plant is “Malus” and “Malus halliana”. It is a small tree and it is an ornamental plant that helps to decorate lawn, outdoor etc. It is a flowering and fruit plant, which blooms flowers in season of Spring. Flowers of this plant are variable in color like white, pink, red and violet etc. Fruits of this plant are green colored in unripe condition and in ripe condition it is orange or red in color. Fruits are rounded in shape. Some crabapple plant has red colored leaves that is very beautiful and attractive.

For this plants well growth it needs loam soil that must be well drained. Moist soil is preferable for this plant growth. Regular watering is preferable for this plant growth but excess water is harmful for this plants growth. Standing water can be spoiling this plant growth. Sunlight can be helpful for this plant growth and morning sunlight is good for this plant but it must be avoiding afternoon sunlight for its well and healthy growth. In its growing time it needs fertilizing.
