Maple Bonsai

Maple plant is a type of bonsai plant that is scientifically known as “Acer” and this plant belongs from family of “Sapindaceae” or “Aceraceae”. It is an ornamental plant that is used for decorate lawn, outdoor etc. There have variable types of maple plant like “Acer palmatum” that is commonly known as “japanese maple”, “Acer saccharinum” common name of this species is “Silver maple”, and “Acer saccharum” that is “sugar maple” as its common name. It is a very colorful tree; its leaves are variable colored like pink, red, yellow, green, maroon and purple. It is also a flowering plant and its flowers are yellowish or greenish in color.

Maple plant needs full of sunlight for its well growth and some types of Maple plants need shade for its growth. Well-drained moist soil is mostly preferable for this plant and some maple plants needs acidic soil or some needs alkaline soil. This plant can tolerate drought but for this plants healthy growth this plant needs regular watering. This plant requires fertilizing in growing time like season of Spring and Summer.
